On October 18th, the 2nd Annual Conference of Belt and Road/ South-South Cooperation Agricultural Education, Science and Technology Innovation League & the 2019 Forum on Agriculture and Forestry Technology Promotion and Collaboration along Belt and Road Region was opened in Fuzhou.The teacher of the International Office of our university participated in the forum.

Experts and scholars attending the conference discussed the interactive discussion on the cultivation of agricultural and forestry technology in the context of the “Belt and Road Initiative” and the implications of South-South cooperation for agriculture and forestry universities and the sustainable development of South-South cooperation projects from industry-university-research cooperation.

The “Belt and Road” /South-South Cooperation Agricultural Education, Science and Technology Innovation League was established in July 2018 at China Agricultural University. The first batch of 40 agricultural and forestry universities in China, including Tianjin Agricultural University, and 30 universities along the " Belt and Road" route joined the league. The league aims to respond to the national “Belt and Road” initiative and build a platform for cooperation between agricultural and forestry universities and agriculture-related enterprises.

In the future, our university will continue to actively participate in the “Belt and Road” initiative related collaborative alliance activities to actively respond to the national “Belt and Road” initiative.
