January 17th is the Lunar New Year in the northern part of China. In order to make international students experience Chinese traditional culture and promote the cultural exchange between China and foreign countries, our university organizes international students to celebrate the New Year.


The New Year celebration for international students includes the introduction of the New Year customs, dumpling making, art performance, game interaction and so on.The activity kicked off by the introduction of Chinese New Year customs, and the folk dances of various countries and the Chinese and foreign songs sung by teachers and students were exhibited one after another.The song "I love you, China" pushed the activity to a climax.The success of the event made international students experience the rich traditional Chinese culture, feel the deep care and blessing from the university, and set up a bridge of communication between Chinese and foreign students.


Heads and teachers of relevant departments such as the International Office, General Affairs Office, Propaganda Department, Student’s Affairs Office, College of Computer and Information Engineering, College of Humanities, College of Agronomy and Resources and Environment, and more than 50 international students from more than 10 countries participated in the event .
