On June 1st, Dr. Sheng Chang from University of Guelph, Canada was invited to conduct academic exchanges at our university. Vice President Zhao Hui had a cordial meeting with Dr. Sheng Chang.
During the meeting, Dr. Sheng Chang mainly talked about anaerobic digestion, including pretreatment, anaerobic digestion process and post-treatment (BH-AD technology).
Vice President Zhao Hui analyzed the importance and urgency of the governance of the township's water environment in the process of building“beautiful townships”in the future. He proposed that the university should strengthen cooperation with foreign countries in scientific and technological cooperation, establish a research and development team, and make active contributions to serving the rural revitalization.
Experts from the College of Water Conservancy Engineering, College of Engineering and Technology, and College of Agronomy and Resources and Environment participated in the meeting,and discussedthe current status and existing problems in the construction and application of biogas digesters in Tianjin. At the same time, they discussed and exchanged current river water quality restoration technologies.
