On October 10th, the opening ceremony for 2018 international students of our university was held in the auditorium of Minxue Building. Yanwen Wang , president of TJAU, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.


Navodika Rathnasinghe, a student of 2017 Human Resources Management, spoke on behalf of the seniors and shared her experience of studying and living in TJAU in the past year. She hoped that the new students could adapt to the new life as soon as possible and successfully complete their studies.
Shanjinda Sharmin Jaky, a student of 2018 computer science and technology, spoke on behalf of the freshman and expressed her hopes for the study and life of TJAU. She hoped that they could successfully complete the study with the help of teachers and classmates.
Lin Zhang, a staff of International Office, led all the freshmen to take the oath to show the determination to uphold the motto of TJAU, to respect teachers, to stay united as students, to remain true to original aspiration, to love the university, and to work incessantly to build “a community of shared future for mankind”.


Xiaoyan Wu from the College of Humanities spoke as a teacher representative. She advised and asked all the students in four aspects, that is to gain professional knowledge and to improve professionalism and so on. She hoped that students can establish lofty ideals and study hard.
Professor YanwenWang welcomed the arrival of the new students and introduced the new comprehensive academic system and strong faculty to the freshmen. He said that the university would provide high quality educational resources for international students and create a good learning atmosphere. He hoped that all students can make full use of college time, achieve success, and live up to the university's quality education resources and the ardent expectations of teachers and parents.


The directors of the College of Computer and Information Engineering, the College of Humanities, the College of Agronomy and Resources and Environment, the President Office, the Publicity Department, the Educational Administration Office, the General Services, the Security Office, the International Office and other relevant units and related teachers attended the opening ceremony.
