On October 25th, Prasert Pinpathomrat, president of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), visited ouruniversity. YanwenWang, president of TJAU, cordially met with President Prasert Pinpathomrat. JunyanWang, deputy director of International ExchangeDepartment of Tianjin Municipal Education Commission, relevant experts fromTianjin Institute for Science of Science and Tianjin University attended the meeting.

During the meeting, YanwenWang extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He gave a detailed introduction to the development history, discipline advantages, and faculty strength of the university, and expressed his willingness to cooperate with RMUTTin running schools.Prasert Pinpathomrat introduced the construction of RMUTT, and listened to detailed reports from the College of Fisheries and Specialties, College of Agriculture, Resources and Environment, College of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture and College of Animal Science and Animal Medicine.He expressed the hope to cooperate with our university in related fields such aswisdom agriculture and food science.   The two sides reached a consensus and signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Junyan Wang pointed out that under the background of the “One Belt, One Road”, the cooperation between the two universities will help promote the development of both sides teaching and scientific research. Tianjin Municipal Education Commission will fully support the two universities to cooperate in running schools. She suggested that the two sides strengthen communication, make overall planning, conduct detailed discussions and effectively implement the cooperation in running schools.

The directors of relevant units and departments such as the College of Agronomy and Resources and Environment, the College of Animal Science and Animal Medicine, the College of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, the College of Fisheries and Specialties, the Educational Administration Office and the International Office attended the meeting.
