On December 3rd, the Chinese Language Proficiency Competition for International Students was held at Min Xue Building. 22 contestants from the College of Computer and Information Engineering and the College of Humanities participated in the competition.The College of Humanities student TABOUBI SAFAfrom Tunisiawon the first prize; the College of Computer and Information Engineering students HARSHANIWATHSALA GUNATHILAKA and SUMANAWEERA KALUWATHTHUDUWAGE CHAMATHKA RANSIRINI from Sri Lankawon the second prize; the College of Humanities student RAHMAN MD ASHIKURfrom Bangladesh , KALIDASA SHANELA HARINIfrom Sri Lanka and MH SHEHAN D THISERA from Sri Lankawon the third prize.

The Chinese Proficiency Competition is one of the series of activities of Campus Culture Festival of Tianjin Agricultural University . The theme is “Me and Tiannong”. The contestants closely followed the theme, talking from the development of the university, to the impressions of studying in the university; from the dream of studying in China, to the construction of the Chinese dream; from the novelty of the first-time campus, to the rough road of studying in a foreign land. All their speech were full of the enthusiasm for Chinese and their love for China. The outstanding performance of the contestants won the high praise of the judges and the audience was also enthusiastic and full of seats.

The Chinese Language Proficiency Competition for International Students is a concentrated display of the language learning results of international students. It also provides a platform for exchanges between international students and a rich atmosphere of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. It is deeply loved by international students.
