On May 13 to 15, Tikhonchuk Pavel, presidentof Far Eastern National Agricultural University, Russia, visited our university. Shoujun Sun, secretary of our university party committee, YanwenWang, the president of our university, and HuiZhao, the vice president of our university, met with Tikhonchuk Pavel respectively.

During the meeting, Yanwen Wang warmly welcomed the visit of Tikhonchuk Pavel and his delegation, and introduced in detail the history, the advantages of the discipline, and the strength of the teachers of TJAU. The Russian side introduced the basic situation of the university and hoped that with this visit as an opportunity, the two sides will continue to enhance understanding, integrate educational resources, and strive to expand the space for education, scientific research and cultural cooperation, and promote the deepening of friendship between the two countries. The two sides conducted preliminary discussions on cooperation and exchanges in teaching, research, and culture, and signed a cooperation agreement.

After the meeting, at the request of the Russian side, the president of the Far Eastern National Agricultural University visited the College of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, the College of Engineering and Technology, and the College of Horticulture and Landscape, and listened to the introduction of the colleges and visited the laboratories.

The heads of relevant departments such as the International Office, the Science and Technology Department, the Educational Administration Office, the College of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, the College of Engineering and Technology, and the College of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture attended the meeting.
