On May 20th, associate professorKatayama Hiroyuki and assistanceprofessor Jian Puof University of Tokyo, Japan visited our university. Vice president Hui Zhaomet with them and had in-depth exchanges with them on issues such as water environment ecological management and global climate change, and hoped that the two sides would continue to expand cooperation areas and continue to strengthen the cooperation between China and Japan. Subsequently, Jian Pu introduced the project background and research significance of the international project “The Impact of Climate Diversity on Water Environment Ecology and Human Health in the Asia-Pacific Region”.YongjunGuo, deputy dean of Fisheries College introduced the progress of the project and reached a consensus on the necessity and positive significance of the project implementation.


After the meeting,accompanied byYongjunGuo and DaweiXu, deputy director of the Science and Technology Departmentand other related teachers, the Japanese experts visited the key laboratory of water production and culture.
On May 21st, accompanied by the relevant teachers of the Fisheries College, the Japanese experts went to the main implementation site of the cooperation projectand conducted field investigation and sample collection.
