On October 15, the online Unveiling of Bulgaria Luban Workshop was held simultaneously at the two venues of our school and Plovdiv Agricultural University in Bulgaria.
Professor Hristina Jancheva, President of Plovdiv Agricultural University in Bulgaria, expressed his gratitude to the Chinese government, enterprises and partner schools for their support and contributions. The completion of the Bulgaria Luban Workshop will greatly promote the development of Bulgarian vocational education and lay a solidfoundation for scientific and educational cooperation between the two sides.
The Chinese Ambassador of Bulgaria DongXiaojun expressed his warm congratulations on the completion of the Bulgaria Luban Workshop. He believed that the launch of the Bulgaria Luban Workshop wasan important measure to implement the outcomes of the China-CEEC Leaders’Summit, marking a new start for China-Bulgaria Agricultural Cooperation and Educational Cooperation.
The Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture,Food and Forestry Pozukovi made a comprehensive summary of China-Bulgaria agricultural cooperation, saying that the establishment of the Bulgaria Luban Workshop will definitely boost Bulgaria and China in the "Belt and Road"and "China-Central and Eastern European Countries CooperationInitiative".
Plovdiv’s Deputy Mayor Rodopski said that this year is more than 30 years since the Plovdiv Region of Bulgaria has established a friendly urban relationship with Tianjin, China. The Bulgaria Luban Workshop is a new result of the friendly cooperation between the two cities and will continue. Deepen the pragmatic cooperation between the two parties in various fields.
Under the witness of the guests attending the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador to Bulgaria Dong Xiaojun and the President of Plovdiv Agricultural University in Bulgaria, Professor Hristina-Yanceva, jointly unveiled the Luban Workshop in Bulgaria. Our schoolsigned a four-party cooperation agreement with Tianjin Economic and Trade School, Plovdiv Agricultural University in Bulgaria, and Tianjin Food Group Bulgaria at the China Insurance Conference.
In November 2019, our school, together with Tianjin Economics and Trade School and Plovdiv Agricultural University in Bulgaria, began to cooperate to build the Bulgarian Luban Workshop, which has amaster's degree in agricultural engineering, crop science and undergraduate majors in cross-border e-commerce, and is committed to training Local technicaltalents who are familiar with Chinese technology, products and craftsmanship will drive the development of Bulgaria's agriculture. The Luban Workshop in Bulgaria covers an area of more than 1,600 square meters. There are 4 professional experiments in Plovdiv Agricultural University, including agricultural biotechnology laboratory, agricultural intelligent equipment laboratory, intelligent agricultural e-commerce platform operation room, and intelligent agricultural commodity information collection room. There are three training bases in the Bulgarian company of Tianjin Food Group, including biotechnology training room, agricultural intelligence training room, and agricultural product e-commerce training room.
In the next step, the Bulgarian Luban Workshop will play its important role in academic education and vocational education, and actively expand deeper, more fields, and wider scope ofcooperation and exchanges to help the technical skills and economic and social development of Central and Eastern European countries. To meet the human resource needs of Chinese-funded enterprises that are "going out", to build a friendship bridge for dialogue and exchange between China and Central and Eastern Europe, and a bridge for common development, to write a new chapter for the traditional friendship between China and Central and Eastern Europe.
