In order to promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture and implement the requirements of the "City where I and I Study" activity organized by the Municipal Education Commission, on June 21, our school held the "Dragon Boat Festival Zongzi Fragrant, Agricultural Conditions Moisturizing the Four Seas" Chinese traditional culture experience activity at the Jizhou campus. By wrapping Zongzi and weaving sachets, foreign students can truly feel the folk tradition and cultural connotation of the Dragon Boat Festival.
During the activity, the foreign students learned the traditional methods of making Zongzi and the skills of making Zongzi by participating in the activity of making Zongzi. They listened to the teacher's explanation while practicing. Through their own labor and experience, they deeply felt the richness and historical heritage of traditional Chinese culture. At the same time, international students also experienced the entire process from collecting mugwort, drying mugwort leaves, to sewing sachets. The colorful strings connected the laughter and laughter of the scene, and the activities of "color, fragrance, and taste" provided them with a deep and multi-dimensional understanding of the customs and culture of the Dragon Boat Festival. At the end of the activity, foreign students said that they would give their own Zongzi and sachets to their relatives and friends to let more people know about Chinese traditional culture in their own way.
This Dragon Boat Festival Chinese traditional culture experience activity not only let the overseas students feel the care and care from the school during the festival, but also experienced the Chinese traditional festival customs, promoted their understanding of Chinese traditional culture, and also let them feel China and the broad and profound Chinese culture in the practical activities.
