On September 18th, the Director of the Colombian National Financial Planning Agency, George Ivan Gonzalez Bolero, accompanied a delegation of Colombian educators to China to exchange views and visit our school. Jin Weiwei, a member of the school's Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice President (in charge of work), met with the guests and delivered a welcoming speech. 

Jin Weiwei, on behalf of our school, welcomed the visiting delegation to China and introduced the situation of our school in international exchange and cooperation, talent cultivation, scientific research, and other aspects. He expressed that this event has brought Tianjin Agricultural University and Colombia closer to the field of education. He hopes that both sides can take this opportunity to continuously deepen agricultural technology cooperation between China and Colombia, promote student exchange, strengthen scientific research team visits and exchanges, jointly carry out agricultural research, share experiences and achievements in agricultural technology innovation, and contribute to cultural exchange, educational cooperation, and collaborative innovation between China and Colombia. 

At the symposium, the heads of seven educational institutions, including Columbia National University, Northern University, and the University of Cordoba, introduced their respective schools' unique advantages, professional disciplines, and future development needs. They also discussed agricultural related issues in depth with the heads of relevant colleges at our university, and proposed cooperation intentions on student joint training directions, academic exchanges in advantageous disciplines, and scientific research cooperation. Both China and Costa Rica expressed their great anticipation of using this visit as an opportunity to deepen friendship, explore opportunities for cooperation in multiple fields, and achieve win-win development. 

During the visit, a group of Colombian educators visited our school library and history center, gaining a deeper understanding of our school's development history, professional characteristics, and direction. 

Leaders from the President's Office, International Exchange Office, School of Agriculture and Resources and Environment, School of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, School of Animal Science and Animal Medicine, School of Aquaculture, School of Food Science and Bioengineering, School of Engineering Technology, and School of Water Conservancy Engineering participated in this exchange event.
