On November 8th, MAPKOB MARKOV, a doctoral student from the Bulgarian Luban Workshop jointly trained by our school and Provdiv Agricultural University, successfully arrived in Tianjin and began his study and life in China. This marked that the Bulgarian Luban Workshop has entered a new stage of promoting academic education and cultural exchanges in terms of vocational skills supply, resource construction, teacher training, and other aspects.
To help international students adapt to school life more quickly, the International Exchange Office and the School of Agriculture, Resources and Environment jointly organized an exchange symposium for students. Professor Xie Xiaodong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the College of Agriculture, Resources and Environment, as well as representatives of teachers and relevant staff, participated in the exchange seminar. At the meeting, Xie Xiaodong expressed the college's welcome and greetings to international students, as well as their expectations and high hopes for future exchanges and cooperation at the Luban Workshop in Bulgaria. Subsequently, Марков Markov visited the college's research and teaching laboratories to gain a deeper understanding of the latest developments in crop stress resistance research.
MAPKOB MARKOV stated that it is an honor to come to Tianjin Agricultural University for exchange and learning. The Luban Workshop project is of great significance to his life. He believes that he can learn high-quality and advanced professional knowledge and technical skills, and better serve the development of Bulgarian agriculture.
