In order to provide international students in China with a close experience of Tianjin's culture and urban charm, on the afternoon of November 10th, the International Office, the College of Food Science and Biotechnology, and the College of Animal Science and Animal Medicine organized all international students from the "Shennong Institute" to visit the Tianjin Zoo and Water Park and carry out outdoor expansion activities. On the day of the event, the sun was shining brightly, and the international students expressed great joy and looked forward to the opportunity to watch animals up close. Everyone visited multiple scenic spots such as the Panda Pavilion, Bear Mountain, Lion and Tiger Mountain, Bainiao Pavilion, and Monkey Pavilion, and warmly greeted them in Chinese, immersing themselves in the joy of "communicating" with the animals.

After coming out of the zoo, the international students were still satisfied and came to the water park again. Tianjin Water Park, formerly known as Qinglong Pond, is a scenic tourist area with a history dating back to the early 20th century and is known as the Little Xizi in the north. Everyone strolls in the park, enjoying the scenic environment, flowers, aquatic plants, waterfowl, and unique water features. Everyone checked in and took photos in the vermilion pavilion, chatting and interacting with other tourists, and joyful laughter echoed everywhere.

This event provides an opportunity for international students to get close to the cultural environment, broaden their horizons, enhance their enthusiasm for learning Chinese, and enhance their cross-cultural communication skills. It allows everyone to relax and deeply experience the charm of Tianjin while studying nervously. Everyone expressed that this is an unforgettable journey to understand, visit, and perceive Tianjin.(Contributed by: International Exchange Office; Text: Liu Xuemeng Xu Jinchuan; Photographer: Liu Xuemeng Xu Jinchuan; Editor: Huang Baoxia; Reviewer: Tian Jian, Zhao Bin, Yuan Yun)
