The Mid Autumn Festival is approaching. In order to promote traditional Chinese culture, create a strong campus cultural festival atmosphere, and enhance international students' understanding and love for traditional Chinese festivals, on September 14th, the International Exchange Office held a Mid Autumn Festival cultural experience activity for all international students on campus.
During the activity, the teacher vividly told the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival for foreign students from all over the world. From the ancient legend of Chang'e flying to the moon to the customs of family reunion, foreign students really felt the traditional culture in the story. Then came the tasting of moon cakes. All kinds of moon cakes were carefully placed on the table. Everyone sat around, tasted delicious food, shared the festival customs of their respective countries, and spent a warm and beautiful Mid-Autumn Festival in laughter.
This cultural experience activity not only conveys the school's care and love for international students on campus, but also allows students to feel the strong festive atmosphere, experience the profound heritage of traditional Chinese culture, and cultivate the students' feelings of "knowing China, being friendly to China, loving agriculture, and loving the school".
