October 14, 2024, Professor Murodjon Samadiy and his delegation from the Karshi Institute of Engineering and Economics in Uzbekistan paid a friendly visit to our university, marking the first friendly meeting between the two schools since they became friendly institutions.
Professor Murodjon Samadiy first visited our school's history museum and expressed high appreciation for our school's development history and brilliant achievements. Subsequently, both parties held a formal meeting in the conference room.
At the meeting, the responsible comrade of the School of Engineering and Technology of our university gave a detailed introduction to the basic situation of the college, including teaching resources, scientific research achievements, and international cooperation projects. The two sides had a detailed exchange on the progress of the scientific research project cooperation that has been carried out. In particular, the two sides discussed specific directions for the strong majors in agricultural machinery automation, intelligent irrigation, planting, and food processing equipment at the Karshi Institute of Engineering and Economics in Uzbekistan. At the meeting, both parties agreed to cooperate in the joint training of undergraduate and graduate students, teacher visits and exchanges, and planned to promote mutual visits between teachers and students through joint application for scientific research projects and school enterprise cooperation, in order to jointly enhance the research level of the two universities in related fields.
After the meeting, Professor Murodjon Samadiy, accompanied by leaders from the School of Engineering and Technology, visited the laboratory and highly praised our university's research facilities and environment.
This visit has opened a new chapter in the future cooperation and development between the two universities. Both sides look forward to collaborating in more fields and jointly promoting the development of academic research and education.
