On January 21st, our university held an online exchange meeting with the Ministry of Education of Uzbekistan and relevant universities. Carol Khidorov, Director of the Basic Science Research Center of Higher and Professional Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education of Uzbekistan, Bahrom Tulaganov, President of Tashkent University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Bakhadir Mirzaev, President of Tashkent State Research University of Irrigation and Agricultural Machinery Engineering, Zafar Khakimov, President of Tashkent Institute of Chemical Engineering Yangiyer Branch, and other representatives from Uzbekistan, as well as the International Office and relevant college heads of our university attended the meeting.

At the meeting, representatives from universities and educational institutions in Uzbekistan first introduced the basic situation of their respective schools, and highlighted the "2025 Development Strategy" formulated by the Ministry of Education of Uzbekistan, which aims to promote the overall green development of the country by improving the quality of education and promoting technological innovation. Subsequently, both parties had detailed discussions on establishing a joint "Shennong institute" with our university in Uzbekistan, proposing specific cooperation visions and preliminary plans to establish a teaching base for the "Shennong institute" in Uzbekistan. We have expressed our support and agreement with the proposal put forward by the Ukrainian side, and have put forward specific suggestions on innovative cooperation, talent introduction, and exchange visits in fields such as soil irrigation, agricultural mechanization, and water conservancy engineering. Both sides agree that by deepening cooperation, we can jointly promote the improvement of agricultural education and research level, and contribute to the development of agriculture in both countries.
This online exchange meeting is another measure taken by our university to continue implementing the cooperation results of the "Tianjin Caixing" China Uzbekistan Tianjin Higher Education Exchange and Cooperation Conference held in Tianjin in January 2024, and to promote practical cooperation in education between China and Uzbekistan. Since 2024, our university has received representatives from multiple universities in Uzbekistan for exchange visits and learning, actively implementing the cooperation intentions and achievements of both sides. Next, our university will continue to strengthen communication and cooperation with universities and educational institutions in Ukraine, promote the joint construction of the "Shennong institute" between China and Ukraine, and contribute to promoting friendly cooperation in the field of education between the two countries and opening up a new chapter of cultural exchanges between China and Ukraine.
