On March 24th, Professor Durval Dourado Neto and a group of seven people from the University of S ã o Paulo in Brazil visited our university, accompanied by Dong Chaobin, Vice Dean of the School of Agriculture at China Agricultural University. Our school's Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President Jin Weiwei met with visiting guests.

Jin Weiwei introduced to the visiting guests the historical evolution, discipline construction, and educational characteristics of our school that closely follow regional economic and social development and serve modern urban agriculture. And expressed the hope that this visit will serve as an opportunity to further promote cooperation between Tianjin Agricultural University and relevant disciplines of S ã o Paulo University and China Agricultural University in scientific research cooperation, teacher and student exchanges, and other fields.

Professor Durval Dourado Neto expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of Jinwei and reviewed the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the fields of crop breeding, food security, and agricultural technology innovation since 2019. And we look forward to practical cooperation with relevant majors at Tianjin Agricultural University through scientific research cooperation, mutual exchange of teachers and students, and other means.

During the visitting, they visited our school's history museum, Tianjin Key Laboratory of Intelligent Breeding of Major Crops, and other places to gain a firsthand understanding of the school's research facilities and experimental conditions in the field of crop science. They expressed their recognition of our school's achievements in laboratory construction. Subsequently, representatives from the three schools held a "Crop Science Seminar" in the conference room on the first floor of Minxue Building. The attending representatives and experts introduced the overview of their respective schools and colleges, and had in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge research, talent cultivation, laboratory construction, and other aspects of crop science. They unanimously expressed their expectation for broader and deeper cooperation in the future.

The visit of the delegation from the University of S ã o Paulo in Brazil and experts from China Agricultural University has provided a good platform for cooperation between Tianjin Agricultural University and the two universities in the field of crop science, and has provided strong support for promoting the international development of the school's crop science. Next, our university will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with internationally renowned universities and top domestic agricultural universities, continuously improve the internationalization level of our school, and contribute to the development of crop science in China.
