On April 7th, the delegation of 33 educators from the Confucius Institute "Chinese Bridge" at Tadao University in Colombia visited our university for exchange and visiting activities. The members of the visiting delegation of educational workers come from the National University of Colombia, the National Open University, and educational management institutions in the cities of Ulibia and Almenia. Our school's International Exchange Office and relevant officials from the School of Engineering and Technology received the visiting delegation and conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as educational cooperation.

The visiting delegation visited our university's library, history museum, and laboratory of the School of Engineering and Technology. They highly praised our university's beautiful campus environment, complete teaching facilities, and profound cultural heritage, and expressed appreciation for our achievements in education and teaching. The responsible comrade of the School of Engineering and Technology gave a detailed introduction to the construction and scientific research achievements of the laboratory. The visiting delegation showed a strong interest in this and conducted in-depth discussions on the application of related technologies.

This visiting has built a communication bridge between our school and relevant educational and management institutions in Colombia, and the cooperation prospects between the two sides in the field of education are broad. The two sides will further deepen cultural exchanges, teaching and scientific research cooperation between China and Costa Rica, and contribute to enhancing understanding and friendship between the two peoples and building a community with a shared future for mankind. During the visit, both sides also reached a preliminary intention for future cooperation, planning to carry out more extensive cooperation in teacher-student exchanges, academic cooperation, and other aspects.

The "Chinese Bridge" is a brand project carefully crafted by the Chinese Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education over the years. With a model of "curriculum learning+practical investigation", it aims to promote mutual exchange between Chinese and foreign educational institutions, expand educational cooperation, and enhance people's understanding of Chinese language and culture from all walks of life.
