On April 24th, our university held an online meeting for the cooperation project with Lezhuobo University, Australia. Attending the meeting were He Ying, a representative from Lezhuobo University in Australia, Ning Lu from the Tianjin Representative Office in Melbourne, Australia, and Guo Dong, a second level chief clerk from the American University Office of the Tianjin Municipal People's Government Foreign Affairs Office. The attendees discussed the exchange and cooperation between the two universities and the student master's and doctoral study abroad programs.

At the meeting, our university representative introduced the university's development history, discipline layout, research faculty, and educational characteristics serving modern urban agriculture. Representative He Ying from Lezhuobo University in Australia provided a detailed introduction to the university's academic strength and international student training system in fields such as agriculture, engineering, and business. The university has a long history and profound cultural heritage, with modern campus facilities and a diverse academic atmosphere. It has achieved remarkable results in disciplines such as biomedical science, agricultural science, and computer engineering, which is in line with the discipline layout of our school. The two sides have broad cooperation space in academic research, talent cultivation, and other aspects. Subsequently, He Ying provided a detailed introduction to the specific information of master's and doctoral study abroad programs in related disciplines, providing comprehensive and practical references for promoting the implementation of student cooperation projects.

Ning Lu and Guo Dong stated that they will actively leverage the advantages of the sister city platform, provide strong support in policy guidance, resource docking, and communication coordination, and assist in the smooth implementation of the cooperation project between the two schools.

In the future, our university will continue to actively seek cooperation resources and platforms with Tianjin's sister cities, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with foreign universities and research institutions, continuously expand cooperation areas and enhance cooperation levels, build a broader international exchange platform for teachers and students, promote the school's international cooperation work to a new level, and cultivate more outstanding talents with international vision and competitiveness.
